Kusanai also possesses a fully cybernetic body, able to both withstand physical punishment and dish out digital damage. With the ability to hack into nearly any other cybernetically augmented person in her world, she’s a force to be reckoned with.
Vash the Stampede Embodies The Spirit of a Hurricane
On the distant planet of Gunsmoke, Vash the Stampede is one of the deadliest gunslingers around. Known as the Humanoid Typhoon, Vash, Trigun‘s iconic protagonist, is a wanted outlaw with a 60 billion double-dollar bounty on his head. He got this fearsome reputation from accidentally destroying an entire town, inadvertently using his alien physiology to unleash total destruction.

Shinji Ikari Holds the Fate of Humanity in His Hands
The adolescent protagonist of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shinji Ikari remains in close proximity to ultimate power throughout the series — finally possessing it for a moment at the climax. Hand-picked to pilot a giant kaiju-slaying mecha, he controls technology capable of withstanding the attacks of Angels — some of the most powerful, reality-breaking aliens in anime.

Through sheer force of will, Simon was able to defeat a cosmic entity of unparalleled power — briefly becoming the strongest being in the Gurren Lagann multiverse.
Madoka Transcends Physics to Become a New Fundamental Force
While Madoka spends most of Puella Magi Madoka Magica as a regular human being, she’s consistently told by the alien Kyubey that she has the potential to become one of the most powerful magical girls in all existence. At the end of the story, she achieves that potential. Using the power of a wish, Madoka transforms into the Law of Cycles, a cosmic being capable of meeting magical girls across all timelines, stopping them before they irrevocably turn into witches.
The Law of Cycles fundamentally eliminates witches from the universe, ending the existence of witches in the past, present and future. Rather than turn into witches, magical girls are now able to peacefully pass on from life after their power is used up. Madoka is no longer a human being in this form, but rather a benevolent god of life and death that transcends space and time.
Dragon Ball’s Zeno Can Delete The Multiverse on a Whim
While many of the characters in the Dragon Ball franchise reach absurd levels of power, none can hold a candle to the Omni-King Zeno. Don’t be fooled by his adorable appearance; this childlike alien is a being of omnipotent power. He’s the ultimate ruler of the multiverse and can destroy anything with nothing but the force of his will. People, planets, stars, galaxies, universes, Zeno could end reality itself if he felt like it.
According to the angel Whis, Zeno has used this destructive power before. There were once 18 universes in the cosmology of Dragon Ball Super, but Zeno casually eliminated 6 of them when he was in a bad mood. Anime characters don’t get more powerful (or more terrifying) than that.
